Terms of service

Welcome to The Azhane Ohara Society of Luxury Events & Catering. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and the purchase of our products and services. By accessing our site or booking any service, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your event date and services.
  • Booking online through our website confirms your purchase. Adding items to your cart and completing checkout will result in an immediate charge.
  • If your event is more than 60 days away, you may be eligible for a payment plan. Full payment is due 30 days before the event.
  • Bookings made within 30 days of the event require full payment at checkout.
  • Payments are accepted via Square, cash (in-person), or Zelle (by approval only).

Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • All payments are final and non-refundable, including deposits, partial payments, and full balances.
  • Events may be rescheduled with at least 20 days’ notice, subject to availability. The new date must be within 1 year.
  • Cancellations made less than 15 days from the event are subject to a $275 cancellation fee.
  • No refunds will be provided for guest count reductions or design changes after materials have been ordered.

Service Modifications

  • Once a design is approved and payment is received, it is considered final.
  • Any design/theme change is subject to a $185 revision fee.
  • Guest count increases will result in additional charges of $15 per guest.

Equipment & Property

  • All decor and rental items remain the property of AO’s Event Decor & Catering unless otherwise stated.
  • Clients are responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items and will be charged for replacements or repairs.
  • A $75 fee will be charged for unreturned or late-returned items.

Venue Access

  • Clients must ensure unrestricted access to the venue at least 4–6 hours before the event start time.
  • A minimum of 2 hours is required for breakdown. Failure to provide access may limit service quality.

Weather Policy

  • Outdoor events are subject to weather conditions. We reserve the right to adjust, modify, or reschedule services in the event of unsafe conditions.
  • If the event is canceled due to weather and cannot be rescheduled, we will deduct non-refundable expenses before determining any eligible refund.

Confidentiality & Conduct

  • All client information is confidential and will not be shared without permission.
  • Clients are prohibited from posting negative reviews, comments, or messages about the company or services without first addressing concerns with the owner directly.
  • Violation of this clause is considered a breach of contract and may result in a $5,000 legal penalty.

Third-Party Vendors

  • We work with trusted vendors for services such as rentals, florals, and photography. We are not liable for delays or issues caused by third-party vendors not hired by AO’s.

Limitation of Liability

  • AO’s Event Decor & Catering is not liable for delays, damages, or non-performance due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, venue restrictions, or vendor issues.
  • Liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.

 

Governing Law

 

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
